- In "The Conversion of Sum Loo," Norman Girard recalls the djinn (or jinn) caught in Arabian bottles. In "Paul's Case," there is a reference to "the Genius in the bottle" that Paul uncorks. The "Efreet" is in the bottle in some renditions.
