NUMBER FIVE BANK STREET3 Dear Mr. Scaife1;

I am sending about half of the revised copy4 to the Riverside Press this morning. The remainder will follow within a few days.

Mr. Greenslet5 promised me6 three pulls of each galley proof7, and only three two impressions came of the first batch of proofs. Will you please ask them to send me three pulls hereafter?, beginning with the seventh galley?

Sincerely Willa S. Cather Miss Plunkett
