In accordance with your request I read and returned page proofs4 of "My Ántonia"5 as fast as possiple possible. As I wrote you on Monday the last lot of page proofs have not reached me. I have waited on here2 for them for five days, and have written the Riverside Press, but as yet the proofs of the last book "Cuzac's Boys" STEAM HEAT

have not reached me. I made all my arrangements for leaving here today, after receiving your letter of last Saturday. Now I shall wait until Tuesday, as Will you please have the proofs sent by letter post so that they will reach me on Monday or Tuesday? If you cannot do so, please telegraph me to that effect at once.
