Dear Carrie1;

Isn't this4 nice? Please show it to Will Auld5 if he's still there, and keep it for me.

Just getting over Influenza. Had it awfully. Two doctors and two nurses, and a high temperature for five days that simply burned me up. Edith6 was away, up in New England burying her mother7. This has surely been an awful year for me.

Please send me the measurements for the window8 for father9 within the next ten days if you can. Let me know when you want the money for Mr. Bates'10 window.

My love to you and Mary11 always—I need hardly tell you that, thank God. You know it.

Willie
