Menuhin, Yaltah (1921–2001) An American pianist, poet, and artist, sister of violinist Yehudi Menuhin and pianist Hephzibah Menuhin. The Menuhin family became acquainted with Cather when the children were young, and stayed close friends for the remainder of Cather's life.
