Call for Papers:
American Literature Association 2008, May 22-25, San Francisco

The Willa Cather Society is now seeking 20-minute papers for presentation in two panels devoted specifically to Cather scholarship at the American Literature Association meeting in San Francisco, May 22-25 2008.

Topics: We seek the best and most innovative of ongoing Cather scholarship, and all topics and approaches are welcomed. Papers may also be considered for publication in the Willa Cather Newsletter and Review, at their authors' discretion.

Deadline for Cather proposals: January 7, 2008 (but they are welcome at any earlier time).

General Conference Information: The American Literature Association's 19th annual conference will meet at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco in Embarcadero Center on May 22-25, 2008 (Thursday through Sunday of Memorial Day weekend). The deadline for all proposals is January 30, 2008.
