- Call for Papers for Willa Cather's International Connections
Featuring Shadows on the Rock
- Call for Papers on the conference theme or other aspects of Cather's life and
work are invited for presentation at a scholarly symposium planned in conjunction
with the the Spring 2006 Willa Cather Conference at Red Cloud, Nebraska, on June
1-2, 2006. Graduate students and junior professors are especially encouraged to
submit proposals. Symposium participants will discuss current issues in Cather
studies with visiting senior scholars and will have opportunities to explore the
resources of Red Cloud and the Cather Foundation archives. Completed papers will
be due May 1. Email proposals by March 1, 2006, to Betty Kort, Executive Director,
