We5 have been here2 three weeks—lovely place—we have a
cottage of our own—two large rooms and bath. Also a lovely garden—all our
own. The guests are all charming New England people, intelligent and good
manners. In spite of all this I am bored to death and we start for
Grand Manan6 on Tuesday—by the
roughest and hardest way, too! Long train ride to Calais7, then arrive St. Stephen8 in the middle of the
night—then boa wait there two days and
finally board the Grand Manan II ASTICOU INN

I wish we were going to find the happy little nieces9 I found there long ago10 when we get there. Then it would be worth a hard trip!
