⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My very dear Margaret1;

This seems a cold sort of Christmas card to be sending my little niece. At best I am a poor shopper, and the intense cold of the last few days has kept me in the house. So I am hoping that your Richard3 will be my understudy and shop for me. He may know some little trinket you happen to be wanting, and I know he will be kind enough to get it for me.

I wish you both such a happy Christmas, dear.

Lovingly Your Aunt Willie
Margaret Shannon1 Merry Christmas!
