⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My Dear Twinnies1;

I am sending you a game that your Daddy3 and I used to play. I thought it the nicest of our games, and he will remember it; "The Checkered Game of Life."4 I've hunted a long while to find it, as it's out of fashion. This one is not so pretty as the one we used to have, as ours was in many bright colors and the pictures were much more horrible for "Suicide" and "Poverty". But I'm sure you will enjoy playing this5, and so will Virginia6.

With a great deal of love to you Your Aunt Willie
