Kudos to our newest graduates!!

Michael Schueth earned a Ph.D. in December 2005 writing a dissertation entitled, " Willa Cather and Celebrity: The Writer's Self Image and the Literary Marketplace." In addition to teaching and serving as Director of the Writing Center while a student at UNL, Michael worked as an Editor and wrote reviews and articles for the Mowers' Tree for eight years. He was also responsible for the detailed work of design and layout on all of the issues. Mike is currently teaching World Literature and a Composition course entitled, "Consumer Culture: Wal-Mart, McDonald's and MTV" at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
