Fall/Winter 2003
After the Keynote Address
by Kristin Bensen-Hause
I'm thinking of Robert Pinsky
A storm brewing over Bread Loaf Mountain
Wind whooshing like air over a moving car
The pages of the book lifting and flapping
Ideas fluttering, the pieces coming together
I'm thinking of Robert Pinsky
I can hear his voice articulating every syllable
And recall him saying that to be a scholar
On America in America is a truly special project
With him as one of my guides, I believe it to be true
