- In "The Enchanted Bluff," Arthur Adams says, "When my father was in Mexico City he saw the stone where they [Aztecs] used to sacrifice their prisoners." Prescott describes such a stone on display at the El Museo Nacional de Mexico in his History of the Conquest of Mexico (March 39-40).
