The first phase of The Complete Letters of Willa Cather is now complete! These 1516 letters represent almost half of all known letters, gathering letters from some of the largest repositories in the world, including Harvard University, the National Willa Cather Center, History Nebraska, the Dobkin Family Collection of Feminism, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The first installment of the multi-year publication of The Complete Letters of Willa Cather is available. There are 428 letters published in this installment, featuring correspondence with twenty-nine different people from four different repositories. Over a thousand letters are nearing completion, and we are planning to publish around one hundred more each month until we reach approximately 1,500 letters by the fall of 2018.
