Thank you for the delightful French notice3, and the information about books4 in stock.

I go out to Red Cloud5 on August 30. I lecture for the Omaha6 Society of Fine Arts on October 29. I cut out the lecture for the Woman's Aid of Chicago7 because I could not catch it en route. If you haven't yet seen the Nation8 article9, let me know and I'll send you one.

"Claude"10 will not appear until next August—I have just completed it, and prefer not to publish it in the spring—so until that is published all the advertising like that in the Nation will apply only to the books you publish11.
