Howard M. Wing, Manager Wernersville, PA. Dear Mrs. Austin1:

I hope you are well again. I was shipped out of town3 to this sanitorium4 as soon as I got out of the hospital5. I'm getting better here every day, however. The country here2 is beautiful, and the quiet very helpful to work—reading page-proofs6, that is. When I get back to town in a week or ten days, I'll still claim you for tea some afternoon. Please apologize for me to the secretary of the Query Club, whose invitation to lunch reached me too late.

Yours Willa Cather
