Dear Mr. Sanborn1:

I hope you have not been to Bank street3 any Friday—I have not been there for weeks. Had to go to a hospital with Influenza—a very bad case of it—and since then I've been down here2 most of the time. I sail March 24th and will be in town4 as little as possible before that date. So I expect I shall not see you this winter. Good luck and good health to you.

Sincerely yours Willa Cather
