ADRESSE TÉLÉGRAPHIQUE
VILLE D'AVRAY
Dear Mrs. Whicher1:

I have been back in Ville D’Avray2 only two days, after a crowded interlude in Paris3. Won’t you come out for tea on Sunday afternoon at four, and bring the boys4? We have a garden and lovely animals to show them. In the meantime, I wish so much that I could see you tomorrow afternoon at 3 or four oclock, at the opening of an exhibition of the paintings of two dear friends5. The artists will be present, and I should like you to meet them. “You”, of course, means both you and Mr. Whicher6.

With warmest greetings Willa Cather
