Lublin, Alfred W. (1865-after 1940). American businessman and autograph collector. Born in New York, Lublin was a member of the class of 1884 of the Massachusetts Agricultural College (now the University of Massachusetts at Amherst) but did not graduate. He went into business as a manufacturer, first in Boston and then in New York City, although by 1920 he was a salesman. He solicited autographs or autographed books from writers such as James Branch Cabell, Donn Byrne, Edwin Markham, and A.A. Milne, and probably also from Cather.
