⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My dear Mr. Davison1:

I expect to be in Mexico3 and New Mexico4 all next summer, and will not be able to accept your kind invitation. I remember my former experience5 at Bread Loaf6 with pleasure, but I am afraid I shall never have time to repeat that experiment. We will call it my first and last appearance of that kind.

With best wishes to you and all your faculty, I am

Most cordially, Willa Cather
