Miss W. Cather ⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My dear Miss Wald1:

I have heard many good things of the "Dybbuk"3 – every one seems to say it is the one play I must see4, but I am afraid I shall have to miss seeing it, as well as missing the pleasure of seeing it in your company. Since my return from Chicago5 so many interruptions have overtaken me that I am going up into the country on Monday6 for several weeks of unbroken work.

I still hope to have the pleasure of meeting you sometime this winter.

Very cordially yours, Willa Cather
