⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Telephone Regent 4-8534 Dearest Dorothy1;

When in April? Please let me know, so that I can put it down. I was in all afternoon of March 16th, but got no message from you.

I’m sure you can’t find any old photographs so altogether charming as this one. Much the best picture I’ve ever had of you, and so good of all the others. It has feeling in it, somehow, like a painting. Be sure you send it back to me; I’m very fond of it.

With love Willa
