Dear Fanny Butcher1

I will be here for several weeks. Please drop me a line and tell me how you do and how your plans of last fall came out. I had a ra sad and wearing4 winter in California5, but a restful and really lovely summer on the island6 in the Bay of Fundy7 where I often go—I must have told you of it.

With love and good wishes, Always Willa Cather
