⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My dear Irene1:

It has been so long since I heard from you. Please drop me a line and give me your present address and tell me whether you had to bother with doctors any more. I will be going out to mother5 early in February, and I hope you will happen to be in New York2 before then. You would be awfully interested in all Mary Virginia6's doings. She is just real plucky, and I am very pleased with her. By the way, she and Tom7 told me that you drive a car better than any woman they know. It is grand to be popular with the young!

Lovingly Willie
