Mr. Bramball[?]
CWB D.W. S. S. Dear Mr. Greenslet1:

I am sailing3 on the Berengaria May 14th and do not expect to return2 before October. You can always reach me c/o Morgan & Co., 14 Place Vendome, Paris4, France., but I would suggest that you hold my September royalty check until my return, when I shall probably be in an appalling need of money and will write you for it.

If you decide5 to use DOUBLE BIRTHDAY6 in your book of short stories7, please don't, for goodness sake, make any remarks to the effect that I have selected it because I think it a particularly good story, for I don't think so. I simply suggested it to you because it is rather recent and there is no string of any kind on it.

Faithfully yours, Willa Cather
