Dear Doctor Cross1;

Mr. Johnson5's letter6 did not reach me until some days after yours, but it finally found me. I hope I shall have the pleasure of seeing you on the afternoon of the 14th. I have not been in New York7 at all yet, as I came back from France8 on a C. P. R.9 boat, by way of Quebec10.
