⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Dear Alfred1;

I am awfully sorry to have missed a call from you at Jaffrey3. I am leaving here2 on September 30, and will arrive at the Shattuck Inn4, Jaffrey, on October 3d.

The more I think of your plan5 for the illustrated "Archbishop"6, the better I like it. I will get back to New York7 about the first of November.

With greetings to all Willa Cather K9/29 RECEIVED
