Dear Carrie1;

I thought you might like to hear about Mary Virginia’s3 wedding, so I made a carbon of my letter to Roscoe4. Irene Irene5 knows how pleased I am with them both, a the bride and groom6.

But Carrie, I simply lie awake nights thinking about “Miner’s Farm7” and wondering if the flood8 hurt it and killed the stock of that nice family who farmed it for you.

Lovingly Willie

Helen9 sent me such a cunning picture of her little girl10. Please tell her I’ll write her someday.
