⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Dearest Irene1;

A letter from Elsie3 tells me that Margie4 is in a Chicago5 hospital, and somewhat better. Won't you please send her some flowers from me, with my love? If I order from a florist he would be sure to send his worst flowers—they always do. And keep a few nice roses for yourself, as I kept some of the beautiful red roses you sent Isabelle6, you remember.

Please write to me sometime, dear, when you are not busy. I am leaving for Jaffrey7 in a few days, but letters will be forwarded.

Lovingly Willie
