⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Dear Mr. Dooher1;

I am leaving for Canada3 tonight—my secretary4 has already gone—so I can write only a word.

I have an unpublished poem5 of Housman6's which he gave me7 when I had tea with him years ago. I agree with you as to his high place among the English poets. My own manuscripts I never sell, but I thank you for your friendly letter and your expression of esteem.

Cordially Yours Willa Cather
