⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Dear Allan Nevins1;

All the same4 you must let me thank you for your new edition5 of a book6 which I once enjoyed so much. I am taking it up into the country with me tomorrow where I can read it in the spring woods. You have probably improved on the first writing in small matters, but the spirit of the first edition will be still there. The youthful vigor and enthusiasm of will be there still, and they were what I loved in the book.

With my thanks and good wishes, Willa Cather
