⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My Dearest Carrie1;

I want a part of my donation to the Red Cross to go on the Webster County3 quota. Will you please give it to the right officer for me?

I am feeling better every week now, and am beginning to catch up with life just a little. Yehudi4 and Nola5 and the two dear children6 are living near me, and they always add so much to my pleasure and comfort. Yehudi is off on tour a good part of the time, but long ago I came to love Nola just as much as I do him.

Lovingly Willie
