My dear Mary1:

In sorting over a number of Sigrid Undset4's letters, written since her return, I find one5 which I think might interest you, since it is about the general conditions there and not much about personal matters. I remember that you went to Norway6 once with Evelyn Broadstone (Lady Vesty)7, so this letter about the country might mean more to you than it does to me - since I have never been there.
