I sent coat yesterday. I think it a beauty! If it is too large, express it back to Lord & Taylor with a short note to Miss DustDUST5 in cloak dept of Lord & Taylor telling her you want a 16 size and tell her just the length you want it. They would make up a 16 size for you in two weeks, just like this one, with no extra charge. Lord & Taylor is perhaps the very best and most reliable house in New York2.

fawn colored hat, somewhat the color of the
fur to go with it.
Edith6 and I both thought this the very nicest of all the many new coats we looked at. It's the best of the conservative new cuts. The exaggerated novelties are old-fashioned in six months.
I'm sure Helen Louise7 will get a lot of pleasure out of it, and would rather have a lovely coat for you than any new thing for herself—so the coat is from both her and me!
