Here at last is a place as beautiful as Sandy Point3 ever was in the days of its pride and power. I have been here ten days. Isabelle4 left me and sailed for home5 yesterday as her father's6 health grows steadily worse. I shall stay here two weeks longer and sail from Genoa7 July 23.

Willa.
