passage written by Cather on separate enclosure. | written text |
I'm sending Ross5 some pictures that Doug6 and I found a few nights ago. I think I'm very noble not to run off with theirs. I love the class pictures7 and the one with his county school8. I am keeping one of him on his old bicycle9 which I will send him later. I've tacked it up in my little house10 and want to have it for awhile. It's so boyish and country-kid.
Tell Virginia11 Tom12 is still sick and can't go to school. We are sill sad that the baby couldn't stay for the circus, and we want to play with her, awfully!
With love WillaElsie13 simply loves her town14 and school, and the country round about.
