Dear Meta1;

Please write and tell me something twinnies5 would like—I very nearly sent them some wonderful soft wolly Jaeger gloves; like those I sent Charles Edwin6. But maybe they have lots of cold-weather gloves! Tell me something they really want.

I'm off for Quebec7 tomorrow, and will return the Sunday after New Year's. I will almost surely stop off to see Virginia8 on my return trip. The trouble is all Canadian trains seem to stop at Springfield9 at three or four oclock in the morning, and one has to wait hours for a train over to Northampton10.

With love to you all11, and wishing you a Happy New Year, Willa
