⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My Darling Twinnies1;

Yes, the boat leaves St. John3 at about two oclock afternoon on Fridays. But, my darlings, if you try to come by Annapolis4 you will about double the length of your journey. Look at the map, O bearers of the Key5! You would have to go ever so far South, and then trail up at least half of the whole Atlantic coast line, and by trains that never connect. Why, getting from New York2 to St. John takes two days and one night of hard travel.

We shall try to get there6 a few days before the 16th, or on the 16th along with you. Oh, I think we'll have a lovely time!

As you may be getting round trip tickets, I amm sending the full amount your Father7 mentioned, plus a few dimes for sandwiches. He didn't say whether his estimate included food.

With love from us both8, my dears,

Devotedly W. S. C.
