It's a proud aunt I am, my Darling Twinnies1! Your great news5 reached me only this morning, forwarded from New York6. Miss Lewis7 brought me up here2 a week ago, very shaky, as I couldn't seem to pull up after a severe attack of bronchitis. She went home three days ago and forwarded your letters, but country mails are slow.

I wouldn't love you one bit better if you had all the honors in the world. I love your two selves, and if you had even flunked your exams I would not change my estimate of you one bit. But I am delighted now because you are, and it's always a joy to see people get what they have worked for. So your keys8 make me happy, as they do your mother9 and father10.

Now about Grand Manan11. I am a poor stick just now, so you'll have to do the brambrain work. Find ACCOMMODATIONS FOR

experienced ticket agent in Boulder3 or Denver12, ask him about excursion round–trip tickets (good for five or six weeks) to Montreal13 or some other excursion point, and send me the information as soon as you can, along with the dates when excursions begin, cost of tickets, etc.

If I get better, and we do pull (off) this lovely party, off, don't forget rain coats. at On our island one must be able to enjoy rain because there is often so much of it, and the woods are lovely in rain.

I was so glad to get a nice letter from Virginia14. Please give her a hug for me and tell her I will write her soon. I promised my Doctor not to write a single letter up here, but he would admit that such nieces and such circumstances are exceptional!

Lovingly Your Aunt Willie
