I will autograph the limited edition3 of the Archbishop4 in your office about August 15th.

⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ Dear Mr. Knopf1;

I was out of the world for two weeks on a long horseback trip5 through the Big Horn mountains in northern Wyoming6. Your telegram7 was buried in an accumulation of mail. I shall be in New York8 about the 15th of August and will then talk over the matter of an interview with you. There will be plenty of time to attend to it then. Meanwhile, I wish you would drop me a line here and tell me how the advance sale9 is going. My address will be Red Cloud until I start for New York. I have had a very interesting summer, and have got over a lot of new country.

Faithfully yours Willa Cather
