I like Dwiggins'3 second title page4 even better than the first5. I like the touch of red, and I love the color and texture of the paper. The proofs6 go off on the boat with this letter. The manufacturing department rather owe it to me to speed things along now, since they managed to send me the galley proof in such a way that they didn’t reach me for two weeks. I wrote7 Blanche8 about it. The page proofs came by mail, with no valuation, and therefore reached me promptly.
Yes, please send me the one volume9 edition of The Ax10 and The Snake Pit11. The book12 on Russian Composers arrived this morning and looks awfully interesting.
