Dear Alfred1;

Everything has gone well this summer and I expect to be back in my apartment4 by the middle of October. I will call you up as soon as I am at home. I expect to stop over for a few days in Boston5. There are some very interesting people here2 and it is hard to leave. I have a pleasant bedroom, and a study which looks out on beautiful woodland.

Faithfully yours Willa Cather 1946 SEP 24 AM 10:56
