1180 MURRAY HILL AVENUE3 Dear Miss Nichols1;

I am so glad to hear that the first article4 is ready. Will you please send it to me at the New York5 office? I go there the day after Christmas and will be in New York for several days. Then I shall go directly to Boston6, where we can consult as to the illustrations. I hope you will be able to arrange the second article7 for us also. Of course it is understood that you can use the letters in a volume after they have appeared in the magazine8.

With all the greeting of this festive season to you and to your family9, I am

Very sincerely yours Willa Cather
