Dear Louise1:

Did you really blow in and out again that night? I'd begun to doubt it, when your note confirmed it. Wasn't it a strange chance? Anyhow, I was glad to have a glimpse of you. I'm still very happy here2, and hope not to be dragged back to town4 by anything for another month or so.
