⬩W⬩S⬩C⬩ My Dearest Irene1;

All goes well, though I wish I could import your Signe3 by air-mail sometimes to get me a good dinner. However, steady, easy running of the house4 is the main thing now, for t the Bishop5 is behaving splendidly, as if he wanted me to do him.

I had four delightful days with Virginia6 and my Amherst7 friends8, came home on Thanksgiving day.

Please, dear, send me a bill for the Pavelka spoons9 and the black bag you got me, and anything else I have forgotten. I am working like a steam engine, and so happy about it.

My love to you Willie
