Dear Miss Geffen1:

Miss Cather is perfectly willing that you should keep the material she sent you3 for the exhibition as outlined in your letter. I wish to mention, however, that I borrowed the photograph, on my own responsibility, from Miss Cather's niece, Virginia Auld4, and do hope that it will not be accidentally lost or mislaid.

Very truly yours, Sarah J. Bloom5 Secretary to Miss Willa Cather Miss Felicia Geffen American Academy of Arts and Letters 633 W. 155th Street New York City2
